What are the requirements to run spigot run.bat?

"spigot run.bat" is a script designed to run a Spigot Minecraft server on Windows machines. To run the script, there are few requirements that must be met first.

First and foremost, you must have the latest version of Java (8 minimum) installed on your machine and ensure that it is in your system PATH / environment variables. Java can be downloaded from java.com and should be a straightforward installation process.

Once Java is setup, you will also need an up-to-date version of Bukkit/Spigot. This will need to be downloaded from their website or from third-party providers if you choose to do so. Ensure that the file is named exactly "spigotrun.bat"!

Next, the script requires both some configuration and permission settings before it can run successfully so make sure you follow the instructions given when running the script for the first time! It is also important to note that this script should not be run as admin as it may cause issues further down the line.

Finally, you will need a compatible world folder with adequate permissions for running Spigot Minecraft server instances for it to work properly. The world folder should contain folders such as 'craftbukkit' and 'plugins' which contain the necessary materials for running Spigot server instances; without these components, spigotrun.bat cannot function properly!
